Throughout the course of my musical career I have encountered a tidal wave of scrutiny from my peers, fellow artist and members of the hiphop community. Despite sharing the stage with (and receiving the stamp of approval from) beloved artist such as Common, Ghost Face Killah & most recently Wiz Khalifa, I’ve never been truly embraced or accepted, and I’m ok with that.

I have no problem being one of the weird kids in the back of the cafeteria who dresses, acts, walks & talks differently. I find comfort in knowing there are others like me who  sit at that table and flick fruit snacks & peas at the popular jocks and their airhead cheerleader girlfriends. Lil B The Basedgod may be the ring leader & voice for all those who were ever chastised for whistling their own tune. Though we differ in sound and creative direction the vision is clear as the sky is blue. Music,art,fashion, creating and EXISTING on our own terms. We are the music makers and these are our songs.  October 15th at the legendary Glass House in Pomona California, I am inviting you all to come sing our songs.
