There is no possible way for me to ever run out of praise for my good friend and fellow art goon Nikko Gray. Over the course of the last year I have been blessed to not only work by her side on different musical endeavors, but I’ve had the honor of witnessing the constant growth of a remarkable performer, creator, and individual.

Her debut album LOVE SEEN sits atop my 2010 best of list and always finds it’s way into into rotation when I find I am becoming to cynical for my own good. Her voice alone is enough for the jaded pessimist to let their guard down and embrace the prospect of one day finding a love they can call their own.  Soulful? Mesmerizing? Captivating? Unique? All of the above!

Her latest offering Water On the Moon, comes in the form of a visual journey through the overcast coast of southern California. Almost on cue the ambient instrumental pours in through the speakers and sets the tone for what is a warm vocal embrace by Ms. Gray. This isn’t so much a music video as it is an advert & commercial for the concept of LOVE. With an open heart and talent beyond her years, Nikko Gray is the spokeswoman & the rightful torch bearer for such a lofty campaign & message.
