World…I would like you to meet $tony Bruno, the southern California born Portland based one man orgy of punk, experimental, electronic, hip hop and all things steeze related. WIth North West hiphop culture seemingly stuck in a perpetual Madlib loop of late 90’s cliche backpackery, Izak Arida (co-founder of BOOM) is spitting in the face of rap convention with his defiant debut “Iphone Sex Tape”.

Yes you heard that right, the “Iphone Sex Tape”. As the name suggest the Lp is comprised of original production created on the Iphone. The songs  themselves are sort, flashy, gutter and reek of Murda Val bravado. Somewhere between lo-fi cyber punk & the Magnolia Projects in New Orleans (circa the release of  Juvenile’s “400 Degreez), $tony Bruno emerges like trap rapper pulling drive by’s on a classic Christian Hosoi skate board. Like a real musical goon, Bruno has managed to bully  his way through 13 tracks of gnar rap ,all the while pick pocketing the rawest aesthetics that could be found encoded in the very DNA of every band that has graced the stage of The Smell.  This is without a shadow of a doubt the rawest collection of songs that has been  assembled since The Rza introduced us all to the 36 chambers.
